A small software house in Montevideo that has been writing DICOM code for a long time.
CharruaSoft opened in 2006, on DICOM work that goes back to 1996. We build software that moves medical images between the systems of a hospital or a diagnostic centre, and we keep it simple enough that one person can install and maintain it.
Our products run in 38 countries. They are sold as perpetual licences per installation, and every one of them can be downloaded and tried before anyone talks to us.
Work for manufacturers
Alongside our own products we have developed custom software for Canon Medical, Toshiba Medical and Fujifilm Medical. We developed the K-PACS/iQ-View viewer together with Image-Systems in Germany, and the PrintSCP printing system with Med-sX in France.
Building to those manufacturers' requirements is what our own products are built on: the same conformance testing, the same care with edge cases in the standard.
