DICOM WatchDog

DICOM Watchdog is a monitoring application that sends DICOM echo-verification messages to remote servers, in case one of them does not answer it will send an e-mail alarm to a list of pre-defined Contacts.

DICOM Watchdog also monitors local Machine Disk and Memory usage, and has programmable limit alarms for these parameters.

WatchDog main Window

It starts as a background application with an icon in the toolbar. With double click it shows the user interface. Setup is for configuring local parameters, remote servers and e-mail configuration, Hide sends the application back to the toolbar. Clicking on the End button finishes the program.

It will create a log file showing timing and connection success/failure.
